Twenty-Four Wildcards Complete Friday's Sale
A total of 56 lots have been catalogued for the The Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale which will take place this Friday 9th December after racing in the Tattersalls Cheltenham sales ring.
The sale includes 28 winning and placed four-year-old point-to-pointers and 17 winning and placed five-year-old point-to-pointers. Also included are eight winning and placed Bumper horses, and two winning hurdlers. The catalogue and Lot race replays can be viewed online at tattersallscheltenham.com.
No less than 30 stallions with horses catalogued have already sired Grade or Group 1 winners, including ACLAIM, ASK, BALLINGARRY, BLUE BRESIL, CHAMPS ELYSEES, CHURCHILL, CLOUDINGS, COASTAL PATH, DAVIDOFF, DOYEN, FAME AND GLORY, FLEMENSFIRTH, GETAWAY, GREAT PRETENDER, JET AWAY, KAYF TARA, MAHLER, MARTALINE, MASKED MARVEL, MASTERCRAFTSMAN, MILAN, MOUNT NELSON, PRESENTING, SHIROCCO, SOLDIER OF FORTUNE, VENDANGEUR, WALK IN THE PARK, WESTERNER and YEATS.
The Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale has a rich history of producing top class graduates. Only on Saturday Grand National winner NOBLE YEATS purchased for £75,000 at the 2019 renewal marked himself down as a leading Gold Cup contender when running away with the Grade 2 Many Clouds Chase at Aintree. The sale has produced three Grand National winners and eight Cheltenham Festival winners in recent years including the likes of SHISHKIN, SIR GERHARD, CHANTRY HOUSE, FAYONAGH, TIGER ROLL and ONE FOR ARTHUR.

Inspections for the sale will be open from Thursday 8th December, with the sale scheduled to commence after the last race on Friday 9th December. The sale will take place in the Tattersalls Cheltenham sales ring, with horses stabled and available for inspection in the Charles Turner Yard.
