Impressive line up for Tattersalls Ireland's first Cheltenham Sale this Friday

Recent results of past graduates on the track, highlights the strength and depth that Cheltenham Sales provides trainers and owners when looking for future winners.

Junction Fourteen’s impressive win of the Rising Stars Novice Chase Grade 2 at Wincanton last Saturday, provided a timely reminder of the quality of Breeze Up Horses that go through the ring at Cheltenham. He was sold by Meadowview Stables at the November Sale to Gerry Hogan Bloodstock for £60,000.

Kilcooley’s decisive 13 length win of the Grade 2 BET365 West Yorkshire Hurdle at Weatherby, makes him an exciting stayers prospect at the highest level. He was purchased for £40,000 by Highflyer Bloodstock from Knockanglass Stables.

Lot 20 Fearachain 2008 gelding by Craigsteel: The winner of an INH Flat race at Listowel and also won a Maiden Hurdle at Wexford and placed 7 times. Holds an entry to run at Cheltenham on Saturday 14th November.

Lot 21 It’sAfreebee 2010 gelding by Danroad: The winner of the I.N.H. Flat Race at Bellewstown on 27th August 2015 on yielding to soft ground and placed 2nd in the Winners I.N.H. Flat Race at Listowel on 17th September 2015. May run up to time of sale.

Lot 24 Texas Forever 2009 gelding by Heron Island: The easy debut winner of the 6yo+ Maiden point to point at Ballinaboola on 8th November, with the third horse a further 16 1/2 lengths behind.

Lot 25 Ballymalin 2010 gelding by Presenting: The winner of the 5yo Geldings Maiden point-to-point at Toomebridge on 10th October 2015, beating TICINESE (GB) a subsequent 12 length winner of his 5yo Geldings Maiden at Loughanmore. Also placed 3rd in the 5yo Geldings Maiden point-to- point at Toomebridge on 26th September 2015.

Lot 26A Ballela Boy 2011 gelding by Golan: The 3 1/2 length debut winner of the competitive INH Flat race at Naas on 7th November, his only start to date.

Lot 27A Park Steel 2010 gelding by Craigsteel: The winner of the 5yo Geldings Maiden point to point at Ballinaboola on 8th November, and placed 3rd on his debut run in the 5yo Geldings Maiden point to point at Dowth Hall on 25th October, all his starts to date.

Lot 28A Medal Of Freedom 2010 gelding by Mahler: Placed 3rd beaten only 4 lengths in the 5yo Maiden point to point at Ballinaboola on 8th November, from only two starts. A half brother to INVICTUS.

Lot 29 Cashanova 2011 gelding by Arcadio: Placed 2nd beaten only 1 1/4 lengths on his debut run in the NH Flat race at Ludlow on 2nd November, his only start to date.

Lot 35A The Worlds End 2011 gelding by Stowaway: A highly impressive individual who fell at the second last when in the lead and having shown an impeccable run up to that stage in the ultra competitive 4yo Maiden point to point at Ballinaboola on 8th November. Lot 38 Monbeg Aquadude 2011 gelding by Flemensfirth: The highly impressive debut winner of the competitive 4yo Maiden point to point at Rockfield on 1st November, his only start to date.

Lot 39 Valhalla 2010 gelding by Scorpion: The very impressive 8 length debut winner of the 5yo Geldings Maiden point to point at Rathcannon on 27th September, his only start to date.

Lot 39A Cottersrock 2010 gelding by Robin Des Pres: The winner of a INH Flat race at Down Royal on 28th August and placed 2nd beaten only 1/2 length in a INH Flat Race at Kilbeggen on 8th August. Also placed 3rd in a Maiden point to point at Necarne on 15th May and on his last run was 4th in the INH Flat race at Down Royal on 30th October to the highly regarded TOMBSTONE.

Lot 40 Ballycash 2011 gelding by Kalanisi: A progressive horse with solid form being the winner of the 4yo Maiden point-to-point at Toomebridge on 26th September 2015 and placed 3rd in the 4yo Maiden point-to-point at Taylorstown on 2nd May 2015. Also finished only 7 1⁄2 lengths behind the highly regarded BORN SURVIVOR (IRE), who subsequently sold for £220,000 at the 2015 Cheltenham April Sale, on his first completed start.

Lot 41A Three Ways 2011 gelding by Flemensfirth: The highly impressive debut winner of the NH Flat race at Carlisle on 9th November, his only start to date.

Lot 44 Milan Lady 2011 filly by Milan: A progressive mare who is the winner of the 4yo Mares Maiden point- to-point at Dromahane on 25th October 2015, from two completed starts.

Lot 45 Minella For Me 2010 gelding by Kings Theatre: The highly impressive 6 length debut winner of the 5yo Geldings Maiden point to point at Rockfield on 1st November, his only star to date. P2P.ie stated “scarcely will a newcomer put in a performance of jumping to match, gaining lengths on his rivals at each fence”.

Lot 46 River Wylde 2011 gelding by Oscar: Put up a highly impressive debut performance being placed 2nd beaten only a neck in the competitive 4yo Maiden point to point at Rockfield on 1st November, his only start to date. From the same vendor who sold KILCOOLEY, CHAMPAGNE FEVER, PEDDLERS CROSS etc.

Lot 47A Reigning Supreme 2011 bay gelding by Presenting: Placed 2nd narrowly beaten showing an exceptional turn of foot in the high class 4yo Maiden point to point at Maralin on 7th November, with the third horse a further 20 lengths behind.

Lot 50 A Bold Move 2010 gelding by Shantou: The winner of two point-to-points, the Winner of One at Loughanmore on 24th October 2015 and the 5yo Geldings Maiden point-to-point at Borris House on 22nd March 2015. Also placed 2nd in the 5&6yo Geldings Maiden point-to-point at Tyrella on 7th March 2015 to FAGAN (GB), the winner of three consecutive point-to-points and a subsequent two-time bumper winner.
