Belfast Banter rounds off an outstanding week for Tattersalls Cheltenham graduates
BELFAST BANTER capped an amazing week for Tattersalls Cheltenham Sales graduates, making it nine winners at the meeting when taking the County Hurdle on the final day of the Festival.
Running off bottom weight he crept into contention under Kevin Sexton and was produced to lead at the last and cleared away up the hill to win in good style for Peter Fahey and owners Direct Bloodstock Limited.
This victory provided his sire JEREMY with his fourth winner of the week and provided his jockey and trainer with their first Cheltenham Fesitval success.
He was purchased for £30,000 by Direct Bloodstock at the 2019 Cheltenham April Sale from Parick Turley's Kingsfield Stud after finishing runner up on his only point to point start.
The next sale to source your future Festival winners will be the Cheltenham March Sale on the 31st March at Park Paddocks, Newmarket.
