£225,000 Top Lot At The Inaugural Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Festival Sale
Heading this evening’ sale was Lot 6, the winning four-year-old Timewaitsfornoone consigned by Milestone Stables (Colin Bowe). The Oscar gelding was knocked down to GH Bloodstock for £225,000.
Also making the headlines when achieving a price of £200,000 was Lot 8, Monbeg Chit Chat, an impressive six length maiden winner consigned by Monbeg Stables (Donnchadh Doyle). The Kayf Tara gelding was bought by leading Cheltenham Festival trainer Willie Mullins along with Harold Kirk.
Seven lots reached six figures on the night and the aggregate for the sale finished on £1,447,000, the median was £91,000 and the average was £103,357.
