It was yet another
brilliant weekend on the racecourse for graduates of the Tattersalls Cheltenham
Sales with winners up and down the country and across the Irish Sea.

On Friday at
Cheltenham
BUN DORAN marked himself
down as a rapidly improving horse when he quickened clear after the last and
ran away with the Handicap Chase for Tom George and the Crossed Fingers
Partnership. The son of Shantou won his Maiden point-to-point for handler Mick
Goff and realised £76,000 at the 2015 Cheltenham May Sale.

Saturday of the
Cheltenham November meeting saw a Listed double for Cheltenham Sales’ graduates
with victories for
FIRST ASSIGNMENT
and
THE GLANCING QUEEN.

The afore named
son of Vinnie Roe rates a most progressive individual and was recording a
second win at Cheltenham in as many outings when scoring by 9 lengths eased
down in the Listed Handicap Hurdle for Ian Williams and the Dttw Partnership.
He was produced to win his Maiden point-to-point by Cormac Doyle and sold for
£40,000 at the 2017 Cheltenham April Sale

THE GLANCING QUEEN created a big impression when forging clear up the
hill to take the Listed Mares’ bumper on the card on her first start for Alan
King. She won her Maiden point-to-point in good style at the Horse And Jockey before
being sold to Highflyer Bloodstock at this year’s Festival Sale for £80,000.

The racy daughter
of Jeremy looks another high-class recruit sold by Colin Bowe’s Milestone
Stables.

At Newcastle on
Friday the effervescent
DAWNIERIVER
recorded her sixth career victory when scoring for trainer Michael Scudamore in
the hands of Ben Poste.

At Uttoxeter MOLLY THE DOLLY took the competitive
Mares’ Novices’ Chase for Dan Skelton. She was produced to win her Maiden
point-to-point and sold by James Doyle’s Baltimore Stables.

In the concluding
bumper
UMBRIGADO despite running
green bolted up for David Pipe under Nick Schofield in fine style. Another
graduate of this year’s Festival Sale he was sold by Aidan Fitzgerald to Tom
Malone for £160,00 after finishing runner-up on his debut in the Maiden at
Ballyarthur.

Four winners
followed on Sunday with
PALMERS HILL
winning in impressive style for Jonjo O’Neill and J P McManus in the opener at
Cheltenham under the trainer’s son. A former inmate of Denis Murphy’s Ballyboy
Stables he looks highly progressive and one to follow this season.

SAMS PROFILE also sold at this year’s Festival Sale by Mick Goff took
the Maiden Hurdle across the Irish Sea at Cork for Mouse Morris.

SHANROE SANTOS landed the feature Southern National Handicap Chase
on Fontwell’s card for Lucy Wadham and GLEN ROCCO took the Novices’ Handicap Chase for Nick Gifford.
